If you don’t look, you’ll find.

So, last weekend I went to lunch with my mom at La Farm Bakery and just wanted to go next door to Adore Boutique. It’s a cute, little designer consignment store and I just wanted to see if these Chanel purses were still there (which they weren’t, it was very upsetting). Then I started looking at all the fancy dresses and then I thought about prom and debated whether or not I should go or if I should skip it and spend a weekend in New Jersey for Bamboozle. But then I came across this dress, it’s brand-less, and it just says “PARIS” on it. It was kind of ugly on the rack, but I thought it looked kind of cool. So, I tried it on and fell in love with it.

It’s a little risque and has a full cut out stomach area with an organza type material, but the meticulous beading covers it up some. The sequins and beading are so beautiful and I fell in love with the back of the dress. I’m a sucker for cool backs to dresses, I must say.

It’s a little crazy, but I definitely don’t want the same dress as some other girl at prom. I’m just not having that. It’s a little, little, little big on me. Just by like, a centimeter! It’s rather long and has a train, so we’re going to have to get that taken in and get it shorter for sure. Just cause that’s another thing I’m not having, a train at prom. I’ll just trip every five seconds! I’ll show you guys the finished product once I go in and get it altered. I don’t know what shoes I’ll wear with it, but I’m thinking nude pumps?! And I’ve decided on wearing my hair exactly how I did in the pictures above. Plain and simple!

This was on the wall in the dressing room at Adore Boutique. I felt it was completely necessary to share with you all :) Touché, Coco Chanel, touché.
Do you give the dress a thumbs up or thumbs down?
